That’s me. I’m a flutist, teacher and family man living in New York City. I’ve spent a fair amount of time performing, traveling, swimming, meditating, and playing baseball with my son.
I’m fortunate to have a large family of flutes in my life, including the concert, piccolo, alto and bass flute. I also play pennywhistles and wood flutes, along with pocket trumpet, jaw harp, didgeridoo, harmonica, and the conch shell.
But I’m most fortunate because of the wonderful musicians I work with. I’m a longtime member of Grammy-winning Alison Brown’s Quintet, and half of the award-winning roots/blues duo Mulebone. I go back more than two decades touring and recording with Nashville singer-songwriter great Beth Nielsen Chapman and perform with Grammy-nominated pianist (and Spyro Gyra co-founder) Jeremy Wall in Riverrun. I’ve performed with author Deepak Chopra and have been a featured performer with the Buglisi Dance Theatre 9/11 Memorial “Table of Silence” at Lincoln Center since its inception.
My musical mantra is Connection, Creativity and Collaboration. What a beautiful path to walk!
